This Digital Slide Duplicator Copier has a 52mm mounting thread. It can be mounted to all digital point and shoot cameras, 35mm digital SLR lenses and video camcorders (may fit some cameras directly, while others may require an optional adapter ring). You can use virtually any light source to illuminate the slides for copying (e.g. sun, incandescent, fluorescent, etc.). You can also remove the built in +10 close-up optic on the back of the unit by unscrewing it, to be used for other close up photography work. ADDITIONAL NOTE ON NEGATIVES: The included holder is for mounted slides.
