I purchased this from a Brookstone store. I wish they had said on the box that it was not compatible with 62-bit, even though I have a 32-bit system I might have thought about…

    BUYER BEWARE!!!
Scan quality was terrible. Scan results were nowhere near the quality of the slides as shown from a slide projector.

    Poor Scanner
The scanner does a poor job of scanning the slides accurately. Whenever there is sky in the slide, the scanner creates a teal spot that does not appear on the slide.

    Terrible Product
Product came with incomplete instructions. After I found out how it was supposed to be used I also found out it doesn’t work well.

This scanner was given to me by my son for Christmas. I finally got around to using it and it is really awful.

Sorry I didn’t read the reviews first!
Shame on Brookstone for putting such a low quality item in the store! Their reputation for quality is taking a hit. I bought their scanner in the after-Christmas sale.
